Frequently asked questions

How much do your services cost?

 To get an estimate for any of our services, submit details about the project and the type of service needed into our request form. 

How long will my appointment last?

Go to our request page and give us the details of your job.  After you submit your request, we will send you a time estimate along with your complimentary cost estimate.

Will teams bring their own equipment or supplies for services? Do I need to provide anything?

Restora teams will bring cleaning products with them to your home, which are eco-friendly, animal-safe, and non-toxic. You do not need to provide any supplies.  If you would prefer us to use your cleaning products, let us know when you are filling out your request form. Please note: we are not able to use bleach or other caustic chemicals.

What kind of cleaning products do you use?

Our cleaning products are pet-safe, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly. They are gentle on surfaces and will not leave any harmful or irritating smells or residue.

Does Restora accept cancellations? How much notice do I need to provide?

If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice, otherwise charges will apply.

How will my home be accessed? Do I need to be home during the time of service?

With any first-time cleaning or maintenance services, we may recommend an initial walk-through with the customer. For regular, recurring services we can arrange for alternative access to your home such as a lock box or door code if you prefer. Your key or code will be kept confidential, and the information will only be accessible to the team lead assigned to your job.

I have a pet - can my animal be at home during the time of service?

If your pets don’t mind visitors, having them at home is not a problem. Please note that if your pet has an accident, our cleaning services do not include pet clean-up.

Do you accept special requests? What about recurring services?

With each of our services, we have a variety of add-ons to choose from to best fit the needs of your property. Feel free to add a detailed description with your request and we will do our best to accommodate. 

You can also indicate on the request form whether you would like your general cleaning service to be one-time or recurring.

Are there any specific services Restora does NOT provide?

Cleaning:

For the safety of our employees, we do not lift or move heavy furniture. If you would like us to clean behind a heavy or delicate item, please move it prior to our arrival.

If you require cleaning that’s beyond the reach of a 3 ft step ladder, or are unable to move heavy items, please notify us in your job details and we will look to accommodate your needs for an additional fee.

Our employees also do not clean pet messes, heavy mold, or fireplaces.

Maintenance:

To ensure reasonable and safe work conditions, and to comply with provincial regulations, the following are out of our scope: structural changes or renovations, and installations or projects that require significant modifications in plumbing, gas lines, electrical, or HVAC.

For safety, our employees do not climb scaffolding or ladders higher than 15 feet without an exception given directly from Restora Property Care management.
